East & Young Idents

East & Young is a Dutch DJ/producer Duo, known for there single with Galantis which is also the theme song of the Netflix film XOXO.
They approached me with the question to create a visual identity for their online releases, that was based around their existing logo and with a distinction between their original releases, remixes and aftermovies.

With their base in Twente, east of the Netherlands, famous for its peatlands and scenic landscape. I went out and captured some footage just outside of the city. This was the part that depicted their roots. For the music part I overlaid the plates with illustrative 3D elements that were audio reactive, creating an equalizer of dancing abstracts in nature.
